FROM WORLD WAR II° TILL TODAY
Accademia Mugnano represents today a real industrial HIT in the field of non-stick aluminium cookware. Going back to the roots: in 1945 Mr. Michele Mugnano, a great entrepreneur, founded in Naples a small workshop where all the family was working along manufacturing pure aluminium cookware. In 1969 the company was transferred to a better site for further development. The company has a new name: Stovmon. The new site in Arzano, renewed with updated technology, beside pure aluminium cookware, started production of non-stick aluminium cookware, remarking the future trends and new ventures.
In 1986 Stovmon unveils the new plant covering 15.000 sq.mt.; the new factory features innovative production plants, totally automatized and technologically advanced to meet the new goals of the 21st century.
In 2008 Stovmon introduced a new brand name – Accademia Mugnano – to launch a highly innovative and widely diversified product range, whose salient feature was the product’s non-stick coating obtained by means of leading-edge spraying and rolling technologies.
In 2015 Stovmon S.r.l., leaded by Franco and Sandro Mugnano, has changed its corporate name into Accademia Mugnano S.p.A. The corporate name’s change has been the final stage of an ambitious project started in 2007 with the launch of Accademia Mugnano, just as a brand. The mission of the project was to
support the constant growth of the company all over national and international markets and, most importantly, to assist our trusted partners by enhancing the brand recognition feeling. During this period the Stovmon S.r.l. has made huge efforts to succeed in doing it. From the productive point of view we have invested in a new high tech machinery able to produce better quality products, enlarging the offer and increasing the productive capability. Our R&D department has designed new ranges according to the global demand and has made the most complete catalogue in the cookware sector. Furthermore we have improved our marketing strategy so that we can play an important role in the most known international fairs, in the web, in specialized magazines, in national tv shows and programmes. Our commitment allowed us to increase our visibility and to enter in new global markets, enforcing the distribution and, at the same time, making Accademia Mugnano one of the most appreciated brands in the cookware sector.
